choice of rig

As with most full timers, my intended usage of the RV was the overriding reason for my choice of rig - apart from the money issue.

I will be traveling by myself - most of the time - but I want the ability to have children, grandchildren, family and friends to come and travel with me for a (limited, say 2-3 weeks max) time. Example would be showing my grandchildren Bryce and Zion.

When I am by myself, my travel habits will be to stay at one place usually longer than one night.

This requirement necessitates a vehicle/combination that gives space for up to 6 people riding and sleeping for a limited time and gives one person (me) space to live in full time.

A Motor Home solution was quickly dismissed, as I could not find any, that would give me what I wanted, without going to a custom built one. At this point in my, not even started, full timing career I did not want to commit the funds necessary.

I do not have enough of a masochistic streak in me to consider doing a Bus Conversion myself, and having it done by someone else seems to require the same funds as a custom MH.
